Hi! My name is Danica, and I am super stoked to be member of the month! I am currently a sophomore business major at CLU, and a member of the track and field team, and a student staff member of career services here on campus. I joined Circle K because I love volunteering and helping out in the community. Every bit of service counts! No matter how little it may be, it will positively affect someone out there. In my free time, I love to run, eat, travel, play ping pong, and hang out with my friends. My favorite food is popcorn, and if I ever have time I like playing the piano. I can’t wait to see what our club will accomplish this year!

Congrats to Danica for becoming Member of the Month! She's been very active in our club and always does her best to spread a little CKI

Hey there! I mean, yo waz up?. No, not that either... Okay so as the cliche goes, I'm not that good at making speeches. But naturally I'm going to spend the next two minutes blabbering about my family and fans until the producers tell me to wrap it up. (I'm sorry, but my inspiration for this came after watching the AMAs. Side Note: What the heck was up with Miley's singing cat?). I grew up in New Hampshire and thus worship all things Boston and ghetto. Was that redundant of me to say? I'm majoring in Communications, emphasis in Film and Production. Having grown up watching Marry Kate and Ashley movies, one can't help but think: Heck, I can do better than that. Having been surrounded by wilderness and extreme weather conditions, I hope to one day work for National Geographic as a documenter. Or take over the Ellen Degeneres show once she shares with me all of her secrets. Which ever comes first. Oops, the film crew is threatening to send Kanye up to take the mic away. I better go before he makes me more famous.

Congrats to Nisha for being December-January's Officer of the Month! Nisha has been one of the few officers that have been committed to the CKI Family. She is a great VP of Administration! Get to know her and you will automatically love her!

Meet Jessica Millan from Palmdale, California!! She is currently a Freshman at CLU as a Biology major with a minor in Spanish. After college, she plans on attending grad school in hopes that she'll work for a non-profit organization in the future. The importance of volunteering was something that was instilled in her as a kid and while she was growing up, she was always looking for the opportunities to do so. Once she reached high school, she joined Key Club and was amazed at the amount of people that valued helping others as much as she did. Being part of the Key Club family in high school, she was ecstatic when she found out CLU had a Circle K! To her, CKI is a club that works on, not only building leadership, but also building awareness on what and who needs help in the world. CLU’s CKI already feels like home and she can’t wait to attend as many service projects as she can.

Congrats to Jessica on being Member of the Month for November! She took part in our first service project and has attended the most meetings out of all our members. She has been dedicated since Day 1! :D

Meet Brita Hoffman from Newbury Park, California. She is a transfer student from Oxnard Community College and she looks forward to starting her second semester at CLU. She's a a junior, studying Exercise Science, wanting to pursue a career in Physical Therapy. She enjoys volunteering and giving back to the community as much as she can. She is a a member of Circle K International and Exercise Science Club at CLU. She was a member of Key Club in high school, but she felt the club was run poorly, so she was excited to see the Circle K Club at CLU in action. She's had fun volunteering with Circle K Club at Cal Lutheran University so far, and she can’t wait for what’s to come!

Congrats to Brita for being member of the month! She's been an active member since our first service event at Heal the Bay: Coastal Cleanup 2013 and is the first to turn in her membership dues! Go Brita! :D

Salvador Brito is our VP of Service. He's a second year with a major in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Sal is from Oxnard, California and graduated from Channel Islands High School in 2012.  As VPS, he's been working hard to create service events for CLU's CKI by contacting nearby high schools nearby to team up with. Congrats to Sal for being Officer of the Month for the months of September to October! :D

Will you be that member? Starting the first meeting, if you show enough leadership, commitment, and dedication, there will be a post dedicated to you! If you are chosen, send in a bio (10-15 sentences) about yourself!
